What is AMYC-BIOMED 2021
The "Autumn Meeting for Young Chemists in Biomedical Sciences" is an initiative of young researchers from the Department of Pharmacy (Department of Excellence 2018-2022) of the University of Naples Federico II.
This international virtual symposium gathers young scientists under-40 from Accademia, Public Institutions and Industry all over the world and involved in research across biomedical sciences.
This virtual event was conceived in 2020 to break the distancing due to COVID-19 pandemic and allow young researchers to share ideas while taking inspiration from the experience of established scientists in the field of biomedical sciences.
Starting from the success of the previous edition, the objective of this year is to enlarge our community and to keep on offering a blend of cutting-edge research presented by inspiring and motivated researchers within a friendly virtual environment for an effective sharing of ideas and knowledge.
Organization
The symposium is organized in three days of online sessions focussed on Analytical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology & Drug Delivery.
Each day will have the contributions of one Plenary lecture by inspiring leaders in the field of biomedical sciences, and two Invited talks by established young researchers with an outstanding track record.
Sharing of science will continue all through the day with Oral communications and "Slide&Talk" short presentations selected by the Scientific Committee.
Moreover, a simultaneous Poster session will take place on our dedicated Twitter account (@amycbiomed) to give opportunity to early-career researchers to show their results and projects.
The participation at the event is completely free of charge and young researchers acting in the area of the biomedical science are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts for contributions.
